Indians across the nation will be commemorating India’s independence from British rule by celebrating its 76th Independence Day on August 15, 2022, which will mark grand performances by the military bands, citizens across the country singing and dancing on patriotic songs, hoisting the tricolor to flag and enthusiastically reciting poems remembering the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters. Indian history is rid with famous events of retaliation and uprisings which eventually drove the Britishers out and forced the former viceroy, Lord Mountbatten, to free India on August 15, 1947,tricolor to after giving the mandate to transfer the power to Indians but the day also marked the partition of British-ruled India into two countries – India and Pakistan.
DPS Dhaliara is located at NH 503, Kangra Road Dhaliara. DPS is a serene surrounding with a long lake and snowy mountains in front of one living surrounding in the back which makes it an ideal place for learning that facilitates creative thinking. DPS has spacious accommodation with four blocks building and in each block, there is a sufficient number of water coolers and toilets for the students. Further, it is equipped with adequate /spacious laboratory labs, Computer labs, ICT labs, a very well-stocked library, and adequate furniture, and a big playground for outdoor/indoor games.
DPS library collection is about 3000 volumes. The library with an amazingly rich collection contains Abstracts, Textbooks, General books, General Magazines, Poem books, etc. The leading 7 daily newspapers are also available for students.
DPS Dhaliara provides transport facility, faculty, and staff through fleet or deluxe buses connecting almost all major nearby areas of the region like DEHRA, BHARWAIN, KALOHA, DAD-SIBA, etc. This facility allows not only the smooth functioning of the school but also helps to maintain punctuality Special bus caretakers are provided for the student’s safety.

DPS Dhaliara has established a reputation for academic and holistic excellence through the hard work of our students, teachers, parents, and staff at a school with such a rich tradition both in and out of the classroom. We, on the other hand, do not believe in complacency. Our country’s education is changing into a new form, shifting from content to concept.
